The winner of the C21 Autumn-Winter 2020 Digital Pitch has been announced in The Digital Pitch Results Show, in which three of the four judges discuss the 12 finalists and share their thoughts on what makes a good pitch.
The winner of the C21 Autumn-Winter Digital Pitch is Double’s Dilemma from writers Esra Saydam and Mauricio Leiva-Cook and Yaka Film, Fidelio Films and Karlakum Film. This was announced in The Digital Pitch Results Show, in which three of the four judges discuss the 12 finalists and share their thoughts on what makes a good pitch.
The judges felt that Double’s Dilemma presented a strong visual of representing differences in a dynamic way. The pitch was successfully dramatically realised and the judges believed it was clear why they wanted to tell the story and that Double’s Dilemma knew it’s themes well.

Double’s Dilemma will now receive a marketing package through C21Media worth £30,000 to support development and pre-sales of the show.
In addition the judges identified 1000 Ropes as worth a special mention. View the pitch here
The judges felt that 1000 Ropes was a fascinating story, largely unknown with a unique point of view and strong visuals presented through the pitch.
The C21 Autumn-Winter Digital Pitch was open to early-stage scripted drama and comedy series from established producers and distributors from all corners of the world. Providing a high visibility opportunity for companies aiming to use Content London On Demand and its relationship with C21Media.net as a marketing platform to release new series.
The 12 final shows featured early stage drama and comedy projects from established and next-generation producers from Austria, Brazil, Iceland, Israel, Lithuania, Netherlands, New Zealand, South Africa, Turkey, UK and the US.
The final pitches were reviewed by a panel of industry judges, who looked for audience appeal, how well the projects had been developed and planned and the strength of the team behind it.
The judges for the C21 Autumn-Winter Digital Pitch were, Elly Vervloet international drama executive, VRT, Jeff Cooke VP of programming, Starz, Liz Lewin commissioning Editor, Sky and Noel Manzano VP of international programming, AMC.
The C21 Digital Pitch is a quarterly pitch initiative that allows creators to connect the best new ideas with the global content community.
Creators present their projects through C21’s Digital Pitch Platform, and the world’s leading buyers and commissioners choose their favourites. These pitches are exposed to C21’s community of more than 200,000 international entertainment executives around the world, to amplify exposure to the biggest community in television.
The C21 Digital Pitch will be back in 2021 and further information on this will be released in the New Year.
