Magnify highlights CNN content

CNN Vision’s In 24 Hours

MIPCOM: UK-based distribution and rights-management specialist Magnify Media has agreed a three-year deal to represent content from CNN Vision.

The deal will see Magnify offer three CNN Vision shows: In 24 Hours (17×30′), which explores the ‘must see’ sights of various cities; Culinary Journeys (18×30′), which sees chefs inviting viewers into their kitchens; and Vital Signs (24×30′), which explores health issues.

CNN International Commercial will continue to syndicate CNN’s news content and original programming to broadcasters and digital publishers.

Andrea Jackson, MD and founder at Magnify, said the deal “adds a rich seam of quality non-scripted content” to its pipeline.

In the past year, Magnify Media has agreed distribution deals with companies including Plimsoll Productions in the UK and Newen Studios in France, plus broadcasters NRK in Norway, YLE in Finland and SVT in Sweden.

CNN Vision is the global production business for CNN International’s lifestyle content, documentaries and specials.
