Lynch’s Twin Peaks heads to Horror

On the 20th anniversary of its first television broadcast, iconic 1990s drama Twin Peaks is to air on CBS Studios/Chello Zone-owned UK cabsat network Horror Channel. Seasons one and two of the CBS Studios International-distributed series will air as part of a season dedicated to the show’s director, David Lynch.

The Lynch season will also include prequel film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, along with feature films Eraserhead and Lost Highway, acquired from distributor MK2. The programmes will air in November on Horror, which is part of the CBS Chello Zone Channels joint-venture stable of channels.

Twin Peaks became a popular culture icon in the UK and US in the 1990s, with the story revolving around the murder of teenager Laura Palmer and the odd inhabitants of her secluded logging hometown.
