Louwerse, Curtis launch distribution firm

Former Endemol and Sony executives Ed Louwerse and Julian Curtis have teamed up to launch a Netherlands-based distribution company that specialises in formats.

The industry veterans will operate Lineup Industries from Amsterdam and are set to partner with Dutch and international producers as the firm prepares its first slate of programmes for next month’s MipCom.

Louwerse was previously MD and senior VP at Sony Pictures Television while Curtis also had a stint at the company. Both previously worked at Endemol.
