Lost Girl finds way to UK

Canadian supernatural drama Lost Girl (26×60′) has been licensed to a UK pay-TV channel by Sony Pictures Television.

Lost Girl, developed by Prodigy Pictures in association with Shaw Media and Showcase, is set to air on UK channel Syfy at the beginning of September.

The Universal Networks International-owned channel acquired US rights to both seasons of the show, which originally aired in Canada on pay net Showcase last September, back in May.

The show stars Anna Silk (The Ghost Whisperer) as a succubus who feeds off sexual energy. Kris Holden-Ried, Ksenia Solo and Zoie Palmer co-star. Lost Girl has recently started production on its second season.
