LivingTV unveils autumn season

UK cabsat channel LivingTV unveiled its new autumn season today, with a raft of new US imports, renewed paranormal commissions and plenty of pink programming.

New US comedy comes in the shape of ABC sitcom Life With Bonnie. Produced by Touchstone Television and distributed by Buena Vista, the show follows the life of a minor talkshow host.

Living will air the show as part of its Wednesday comedy night. This autumn, the grid will have more episodes of According to Jim at 20.00, Bonnie at 20.30 and a Will & Grace double bill at 21.00. The 22.00 slot is reserved for UK commissions, according to Living's director of programmes, Richard Woolfe.

As well as more CSI: Miami, Living has also imported new US reality series America's Top Model (UPN), dating show Love Shack (NBC), celeb show High Price of Fame (E! Entertainment) and gay makeover series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (Bravo/NBC).

More of that pink reality comes from Living's own version of Queer Eye (10×60'), which launches on November 6 at 21.00. Making Time Productions has adapted the hit US format.

Prospect Pictures' new dating show Straight Dates by Gay Mates (10×60') launches November 12 in the Wednesday 22.00 slot. The format was jointly developed by Prospect and Living.

Other UK commissions include reality series Strip Search, adapted from the Australian format by TWI Entertainment, plus the new reportage series Child Snatchers. This show is a copro between Scallywag Productions and Prerequisite Films.

Living has also lined up more of its ongoing paranormal titles: Most Haunted, Most Haunted Live, Jane Goldman Investigates and 6ixth Sense With Colin Fry.

For Living's 7.00-9.00 preschool block, Tiny Living, distributor Prism Entertainment has supplied two new series: puppet/cgi show Jibba Jabba and Buzz & Poppy, a cgi series from New Zealand.

{Living's ratings are up and audience share for multi-channel television is increasing too,{ added Woolfe. {Viewers of terrestrial analogue television are in the minority these days. We now think like a terrestrial channel.{
