Lipstone, Donahue exit All3 America

The top two executives at Discovery- and Liberty Global-owned All3Media’s operation in the US have stepped down.

Greg Lipstone

All3Media America’s CEO Greg Lipstone and chief operating officer Dan Donahue are both leaving the company effective immediately, with replacements yet to be named.

Lipstone, who has worked across all operations at the US arm of the firm, became CEO in 2015, replacing Eli Holzman, having worked closely with the company at US agency ICM Partners.

Donahue had only joined All3 in February last year, from ICM Partners,  and before that was COO at Broder Webb Chervin Silbermann Agency. His remit at All3 included overseeing operating strategies for the US division.

Jane Turton, CEO of All3Media, thanked the duo for “their many contributions to the success of All3Media America” and wished them both “the very best in their future.” Their next moves are not yet known.

Lipstone’s strategy had seen All3Media America move into drama, appointing Nina Lederman in 2016 as exec VP of scripted programming and preparing anthology series Accused for Paramount Network.

The show, based on a format originally commissioned by BBC1 in the UK, joins All3Media America’s unscripted slate that includes Chrisley Knows Best for USA Network and Undercover Boss for CBS.

Lipstone was also key to the recent launch of unscripted prodco Woodman Park, which will sit under the All3Media America banner, led by Jacob Cohen-Holmes.
