Lifetime in the US is preparing to air an eight-part event series that will feature live coverage of people’s weddings.

My Great Big Live Wedding with David Tutera will debut at 22.00ET/PT on February 5 and is being produced by US-based Thinkfactory Media.

The show follows couples as they plan for their weddings with event director Tutera and concludes with live coverage of the big day itself.

Adam Reed, Adam Freeman, Tim Cohen-Laurie, Leslie Greif and David Tutera serve as executive producers and Joey Toth co-executive produces for Thinkfactory Media. Dena Waxman is executive producer/showrunner, while Gena McCarthy and James Bolosh serve as executive producers for A+E Networks-owned Lifetime.

The show continues a trend for live programming on US cablenets of late, following the success of police show Live PD on Lifetime’s A+E stablemate A&E. Last summer Nat Geo aired natural history series Yellowstone Live and Discovery has recently tried its own version with Border Live from the US-Mexico border.
