Lifetime hires E! exec for unscripted

A+E Networks’ female-skewing US cablenet Lifetime has hired an executive from E! to join its unscripted development and programming team.

Lauren Celinski has been appointed VP of unscripted development and programming at Lifetime, reporting to senior VP of unscripted development and programming Mariana Flynn.

Celinski will be based in LA and develop and oversee non-fiction projects for the network, which is known for series including Dance Moms, Project Runway and Unreal.

Previously she was responsible for developing unscripted series and overseeing a slate of shows including Mariah’s World and So Cosmo through production at NBCUniversal’s celebrity driven E! network.

She also had a stint as manager of development at Discovery Channel working on shows including Shark After Dark and Game of Pawns. Prior to that she was director of development at TGroup Productions.
