LeBron throws Million Dollar show to CBS

LeBron James is behind SpringHill Entertainment

US broadcast network CBS has ordered a 10-part obstacle course series from LA Lakers basketball star LeBron James and his producing partner Maverick Carter.

Million Dollar Mile (working title) is produced by the pair’s SpringHill Entertainment alongside Big Brother producer Fly on the Wall Entertainment and Warner Horizon Unscripted & Alternative Television.

The show will see contestants tackle an obstacle course erected in closed city streets for the chance to win US$1m

Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan are executive producers for Fly on the Wall alongside James and Carter for SpringHill.

Jamal Henderson and Philip Byron will oversee the project for SpringHill, with the show coming as part of James’ content creation deal with Warner Bros Entertainment.

Netflix recently ordered a limited series from LeBron’s SpringHill telling the story of entrepreneur Madam CJ Walker.
