Lambs of God goes global

Lambs of God is adapted from the novel by Marele Day

Broadcasters in 46 territories around the world have picked up Australian drama Lambs of God from UK-based distributor Sky Vision.

Among the networks to have acquired the series are Norway’s AMedia, Sky New Zealand, HBO Nordic and Germany’s RTL Television.

Produced by Lingo Pictures and Endemol Shine Australia, Lambs of God is adapted from Marele Day’s novel about three nuns who live on a secluded and remote island. The four-part series launched on Foxtel in Australia last week.

Directed by Jeffrey Walker (Modern Family, Dance Academy), Lambs of God stars Essie Davies (Game of Thrones), Jessica Barden (The End of the F***ing World, Penny Dreadful) and Ann Dowd (The Handmaid’s Tale).

It is distributed by Sky Vision, the production and distribution arm of Comcast-owned media giant Sky.

Leona Connell, director of sales at Sky Vision, said: “Lambs of God is a brooding, gothic series that will really get under the skin of viewers around the world. They will all be able to enjoy this beautifully produced, uniquely distinctive piece of drama.”
