Kix treads Beat N Path

Beat N Path will launch on Kix on March 8

Asian TV operator Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE)’s action entertainment channel Kix has picked up a docuseries starring Grammy-winning hip-hop artist Lupe Fiasco.

Produced by Studio SV, which was set up by Fiasco and entrepreneur Bonnie Chan Woo in October, Beat N Path is the studio’s first series production since its launch in both Hong Kong and LA.

CTE operates a collection of pan-Asian channels dedicated to Asian entertainment and will host the world premiere of the show on both Kix and Kix HD on March 8.

Beat N Path follows Fiasco as he chases his dual passions for music and martial arts, practicing with Kung Fu masters throughout the Middle Kingdom while exploring China’s fast-emerging hip-hop scene.
