Kidoodle’s stream goes global

North American children’s SVoD service Kidoodle.TV has launched in 145 countries through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

The ad-free service, which is backed by Canada’s A Parent Media Co, has partnered with various international content producers to beef up its library of children’s programming.

These include educational YouTube hit Blippi, which is aimed at toddlers, and RoboGarden, which helps kids learn to code in popular computer languages.

“Acquiring global content rights is a huge priority for us. We will continue to focus on worldwide sourcing and licensing from both traditional and non-traditional partners,” said Jared Dielwart, chief content officer for Kidoodle.TV.

The app, which costs US$4.99 per month, last year launched a feature that allows parents to upload their own content to the platform.

The Family Moments feature lets parents store home movies for playback and sharing within their Kidoodle.TV account. Once uploaded, videos can be viewed across devices for secure, anytime, anywhere viewing in HD quality.
