KI lets loose Prison Girls in Oz, US, Europe

Flicker Productions’ doc series Prison Girls: Life Inside

A+E Networks, ITV and Foxtel are among the global broadcasters to have picked up content from Israeli distributor Keshet International (KI).

Flicker Productions’ docuseries Prison Girls: Life Inside (4×60’) has been secured by Viacom’s UK commercial network Channel 5, BNN Vara in the Netherlands, Australia’s Nine Network, TVNZ in New Zealand and A+E Networks in the US, which will retitle the series Behind Bars: Women Inside.

TVNZ has also bagged the first season of Around The World by Train (6×60’), fronted by Tony Robinson. SBS and Foxtel in Australia have also picked up the first run, while BBC Earth in the UK has licensed S1 and S2.

Meanwhile, German broadcaster ProSieben, Sky in New Zealand and Foxtel in Australia all picked up both seasons of Crackit Productions’ Trucking Hell. Additionally, Viasat World recently licensed the first run for the Nordic, CIS and Central and Eastern Europe.

TV4 in Sweden, Sky and Foxtel have obtained two seasons of Casualty 24/7.

Further Crackit Productions content has also been sold by KI, with SBS in Australia, Docs De Cologne in Germany and Israel’s HOT8 all picking up My Extreme… Life (9×60’). SBS also acquired My Sexual Fantasy (4×60’) and HOT8 obtained My Dad The Paedophile (1×60’).

SVT in Sweden has licensed Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing (6×30’), while Foxtel in Australia has bought River Hunters (8×60’).

In Latin America, Discovery Lat Am picked up Keshet Productions’ Speed Freaks (6×60’), which sees entrepreneur and daredevil Zef Eisenberg and his team of mechanics attempt to break the British land speed record.

Finally, Pi Productions’ Secrets of the Factories (4×60’) has been picked up by Dutch broadcaster TRL.
