KI adds to Digital Studios team

Israel’s Keshet International (KI) has appointed former executives at Endemol and Shaftesbury Entertainment to new roles at its digital arm.

Keshet Digital Studios (KDS) has hired Pasa Mustafa as creative director for digital, based in London, and Heather Brewster as VP development for digital, in LA.

Mustafa is a former global head of digital originals at Endemol and recently worked for KI as a digital creative consultant.

Brewster most recently served as VP for digital originals at Smokebomb and Shaftesbury Entertainment in Canada. Previously, she was a founding content executive for Fullscreen’s SVoD service.

Both execs will report to Sebastian Burkhardt, senior VP of digital and acquisitions at KI and have been tasked with developing “premium original programming for cord-cutting millennials.”

Projects in various stages of development at KDS include LA-set coming-of-age drama Tracks in partnership with music label Interscope Geffen A&M; The Dead Girls Detective Agency, a coproduction with Insurrection Media; vampire horror thriller Blood Bath; and The Outside, a reality format that takes place half in the real world and half in a virtual reality world.
