Keshet taps Greenbird duo to lead in UK

Speed Freaks’ Zef Eisenberg

Producer and distributor Keshet International (KI) has appointed Jamie Munro and Stuart Mullin to replace Sammy Nourmand as head of its UK business.

Munro and Mullin are co-managing directors of Greenbird Media, the UK production financier and prodco incubator that KI bought a majority stake in last year.

Following this acquisition, KI has now appointed Munro and Mullin to replace Nourmand as head of its UK operations at the end of this year.

Nourmand was appointed to the role of chief operating officer of the UK business in 2014 and is also chief corporate development officer and MD of the western Europe business.

Keshet Productions will relocate from Camden, London to Greenbird’s offices in central London, as will KI’s UK staff, bringing all the company’s UK operations under one roof.

Howard Burch, MD of scripted, David Williams, MD of non-scripted, and Jamie Ormerod, director of development, will continue to head up the creative side of Keshet Productions. Munro and Mullin will provide additional mentoring support as needed.

Recent commissions include Singletown (15×60’), ITV2’s new dating reality show where five couples press pause on their relationships and live the single life for a summer, and Speed Freaks (6×60’), which saw entrepreneur and daredevil Zef Eisenberg and his team of mechanics attempt to break an iconic British land speed record for ITV4.
