Kajpust returns to Super Channel

Melissa Kajpust has rejoined Canadian pay TV network Super Channel as its head of creative development, following a stint at the country’s National Screen Institute (NSI).

Kajpust, who served as director of programming at NSI, will direct a team of development executives to invest in Super’s creative development fund.

She replaces Marguerite Pigott who left Super to join the Canadian Media Production Association in March.

Kajpust reports to Malcolm Knox, president and chief operating officer of Super Channel, and takes up her Toronto-based role on May 15.

Last month, Super Channel appointed former HBO Canada exec Julie Di Cresce as its director of programming.

The channel yesterday greenlit Too Much Information, a half-hour panel show that features a revolving cast of more than 25 comedians discussing a range of controversial topics.
