So, what's the job?
The Velocity Pitch team is a market facing Marketing team focused on advertiser partner needs and lead ideation based on client brief, data and insights, and Viacom talent/ assets. The Coordinator position reports into the Pitch Manager on the convergent client facing pitch marketing team, working across Viacom’s Music and Entertainment networks. In this role, you will work with Ad Sales and support the Pitch Management team to help ideate and develop convergent campaigns across various Viacom properties. Collaboration is at the core of this role as you will be working closely with Marketing Execution and Creative counterparts to manage client requests.

You are detail oriented, a team player, and a creative writer. You are a fan of our content, talent, and franchises. You will have a passion for developing innovative and creative sponsorship solutions for clients that are engaging, drive revenue and provide meaningful solutions.

The day to day:
  • You will assist in creative development, presentation and project management, supporting a dedicated Pitch Marketing and Sales team
  • You will coordinate with Sales, Programming and Creative departments in order to facilitate concept development and execution of linear, digital, and social driven business
  • You will create support materials for the Advertising Sales force, including standard sponsorship packages and custom convergent programs
  • You will work cross discipline to address client feedback and/or changes to a marketing proposal/concept
  • You will participate in the brainstorm and development of new marketing programs for Sales
  • You will track, communicate and disseminate client sponsorship information in order to provide oversight and a constant flow of communication
  • You will be the keeper of all department organizational documents including tracking documents, timelines, execution calendar, status sheets and the sponsorship portal

Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Ad Sales, Integrated Marketing and/or agency experience
  • Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel

Additional Qualifications
  • Creative writing skills
  • Interest in social media and digital platforms
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving and research skills
  • Client-focused mind-set while understanding the needs of Ad Sales and the channels
  • Unique balance of disciplined strategic thinking, creative passion, and a willingness to be hands-on
  • Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, organization as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
