Job Description:

Overview & Responsibilities
Join our incredible Brand Partnerships team. We act as the liaison between Ad Sales and multiple departments across all networks within Viacom, including: Integrated Marketing, Programming, Pricing & Inventory, Research, and Channel Leadership. The main goal of our group is to impact and increase ad sales revenue to coincide with ad sales objectives, channel team initiatives, and marketplace conditions.

The Brand Sales Coordinator will act in a supporting role to all Brand Sales team members liaising between Sales, Integrated Marketing and the VMN Network Groups.

Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for sponsorship management, including creation, pricing, and tracking of off the shelf and custom sponsorships. This includes updating and overseeing the Sponsorship Portal
  • You will assist with sponsorship summary initiation and distribution and maintain the Competitive Tracker
  • You will ensure that the EVP has up to date information on key sales initiatives such as sponsorship sales, marketing pitches, and closed deals
  • You will maintain a VMN programming calendar of upcoming series, tentpoles, specials, and other key initiatives for the EVP and national sales team
  • You will work on special projects as needed, such as status updates and summary one-sheets for key priorities and tentpoles, competitive sponsor research, and industry trends

Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications
  • 1-2 years working experience, preferably in media
  • Strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills especially in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Able to multi-task and be detail oriented in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Additional Qualifications
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Prior experience in sales a plus 
  • Ability to effectively present ideas and develop solutions that meet clients’ needs
  • Positive attitude with proven demonstration to maintain relationships and collaborate with the organization
