Job Description:

For the newly established International sales arm Dutch Filmworks is looking for an experienced sales executive with a substantial network. He or she will play a key role in growing this important aspect of the exploitation of Dutch Filmworks' content portfolio.

The candidate will be responsible for global sales and account management, building and maintaining a strong international network and will report to the EVP International sales. The Director of Sales will structure, analyse and negotiate the best deals possible to optimize sales result and exceed targets set. After successfully closing the deals, the Director of Sales will work closely with the legal team to convert the deal into an agreement and remain the point of contact throughout the process.

Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement distribution strategies for the content portfolio across international platforms (Free, Pay, SVOD, AVOD, TVOD and EST)
  • Setting up a distribution and sales model for key territories
  • Structure and analyze deal proposals, financial models, product availability data and content windowing scenarios
  • Critically assess and evaluate potential content licensing deals with existing and new clients
  • Identify digital media and content consumption trends in the different territories
  • Maintain strong relationships with external clients
  • Work on ad-hoc projects involving budgeting, forecasting and deal tracking

Job Requirements:

The candidate must be a European resident.
  • Bachelor’s degree together with at least 3 years relevant commercial experience in the international content distribution landscape
  • Strong experience in negotiating and structuring license deals
  • High level analytical and commercial skills
  • Clear and structured communicator both verbally as in writing
  • Fluent in English. Other languages are a plus
  • Strong presentation skills with experience in shaping a sales story/message
  • High degree of flexibility in a dynamic environment
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Experience in video content valuation, negotiations, content development/production
  • Knowledge of content rights landscape and media environment, digital business models and consumer Internet/technology space
  • Experience building collaborative working relationships with cross-functional business partners, leads and peers
