Job Description:

YOUR TASKS
  • You are responsible for the content and are in charge of the management, planning, implementation and follow-up up to the broadcast of a blue light docu-soap and report to the executive producer. 
  • You will be responsible for communication with clients, protagonists and all trades. 
  • You lead the project planning, implement the filming on location as a creative producer and are responsible for the entire storytelling.
  • You lead the team consisting of the editorial team and all trades that are part of the project at certain times, both during the preparation phase and during filming and post-production. 
  • Together with the executive producer, you will manage communication with the broadcaster and meticulously prepare and follow up on these appointments. 
  • You will be in charge of several editing rooms at the same time and will lead the editorial team during the editing phase. 
  • You network all departments from an editorial perspective and maintain close cooperation with production management.
  • You are responsible for finishing the broadcasts including overseeing the mixing, color grading and all delivery materials.

Job Requirements:

YOUR PROFILE
  • You have several years of experience in producing with in-depth storytelling, i.e. you have been responsible for TV projects in recent years and have managed the content from research, through filming, editing, to the submission of a program.
  • You have led an editorial team over the last few years. 
  • You are experienced in editorial post-production (editing, reporting, editing press releases, initiating and implementing all project phases).
  • You have a keen journalistic instinct for editorial topics and trends.
  • You work in a structured, independent manner and have strong communication skills.
  • You are responsible and goal-oriented.
  • You keep an overview even in complex situations and difficult production phases.
  • You look ahead at the big picture and the individual processes within a TV project. 
  • You have business thinking skills.
  • You love documentaries without voice-over and know how to advance the storytelling in this direction.
