EC’s International television sales studio is currently representing an unrivalled slate of premium talent-driven scripted series including KILLING EVE starring Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer, THE NIGHT MANAGER starring Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston, and CITY ON A HILL starring Kevin Bacon.  Next year’s slate to include:  9 PERFECT STRANGERS starring Nicole Kidman, LOVE BETH, starring Amy Schumer, TOKYO VICE starring Ansel Elgort and The UNTITLED HEDY LAMARR SERIES starring Gal Gadot amongst many others.

Job Responsibilities:
 
  • Implement and execute long term and fiscal year strategies to maximise sales and revenue across the catalogue in German Speaking Europe and UK secondary market with scope to change.
  • Manage all rights across all genres of finished content and formats in German Speaking Europe including co productions and pre-sales.
  • Manage second window sales of all On Demand distribution services, streaming services such as FAST channels and Home Entertainment rights in the UK.
  • Work alongside the SVP EMEA, develop and maintain relationships with key content buyers, manage exisiting deal commitments and partnerships as well as create and intiate new business opportunities across the footprint.
  • Identify and advise wider business on local market trends, popular content titles, up-and-coming or established local talent, new IP and/or production companies opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets in territories.
  • Work strategically and collectively across wider Endeavor business and local IMG execs.
  • Ensure indepth knowledge of the catalog and continuously work towards generating incremental revenue opportunities across the entirety of EC’s product portfolio and brands.
  • Understand all aspects of sales planning, windowing and pricing, maximizing the value of our content whilst taking into consideration our business objectives and culture along with indepth territory analysis.
  • Liaising with the content team to keep abreast of available content, content pipeline and as well as providing sales projections for new projects and regular producer feedback.
  • Regularly meet and update management on sales progress and activity.
  • Travel to local markets, meet clients and drive sales in territory.
  • Brand ambassador who will professionally represent the company at industry conventions and events
  • Continually strive for excellence in customer service and deal making structure keeping the best interest of the creatives in mind.
  • Conduct contract negotiations with licensees as appropriate and inform all key stakeholders with the relevant information required.
  • Overseeing a database of key client contacts, ensuring this database is constantly updated by the Sales Coordinator.
  • Ensuring deals are closed and signed in a timely manner, in collaboration  with the Ops, Finance and Business Affairs.
  • Liaising with the Marketing Team to ensure all sales marketing assets are produced in good time, meet sales’ needs, and are in line with appropriate messaging to the market

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in negotiating deals across all media in an acquisitions or sales environment.
  • Proven track record of working with producers and/or international buyers.
  • Financial acumen
  • Computer literate including MS Word, Excel and Keynote/Powerpoint
  • Fluent English, essential; German language, beneficial
  • Excellent commercial and strategic approaches to problem solving and innovation
  • Exceptional planning and organization skills
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to achieve buy-in at all levels
  • Deep product understanding with a genuine passion and respect for entertainment content
  • Formats experience added bonus
