Job Description:

Magnify Media is a fast-growing and dynamic distribution company, and we are looking for an experienced programme sales professional to join the team. Owned by one of the UK’s largest independent production companies, Plimsoll Productions, Magnify is working with an exceptional pipeline of premium content and offers an exciting career growth opportunity. Competitive salary + bonus. Job title to be mutually agreed based on experience.

The role can be full-time or flexible and can be based in Bristol, Sussex or you can work remotely.

Our slate ranges from blue-chip natural history like Malika: The Lion Queen (Fox Networks) to premium docs like Thatcher & Reagan: A Special Relationship (BBC2) to primetime factual entertainment, Handmade: Good with Wood (Channel 4) to returning series My Unique B &B (BBC1) and Mountain Vets (BBC2).  Our content is a joy to sell and we are passionate about it.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will
  • Have at least 5+ years industry experience
  • Have excellent broadcaster and platform relationships in Western Europe and/or English-speaking territories
  • Have thorough knowledge of your specialist sales territories
  • Have strong commercial instincts and a strategic understanding of our fast-changing industry landscape
  • Be a confident commercial negotiator and adept at rights exploitation
  • Be self-motivated and target-focussed
  • Be passionate about good content
  • Bring positive energy to the team dynamic
  • Want to be part of a company that is growing and contribute to that growth and be part of a longer-term journey

The role will work directly to the CEO.
