Jetpack’s Sisters adopted by TV3, Canal Panda

The Sisters is made by Samka Productions and Bamboo Productions for M6

MIPCOM: TV3 in Spain, Israel’s Channel 8 and Canal Panda in Portugal have picked up animated series The Sisters from global children’s sales outfit Jetpack Distribution.

Teletoon+ in Poland, Gulli in Russia have also bought the show, along with iflix for its SVoD services in the Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand.

The show, which centres on the adventures of two bickering sisters, is produced by French companies Samka Productions and Bamboo Productions for M6.

Canal Panda, Teletoon+ and Gulli have also acquired the second season of fellow Samka series Jamie’s Got Tentacles, which follows an alien who has escaped to earth.

The show, produced in collaboration with France TV and Canal+ has also been sold to Nat Geo Kids in Latin America, ABC in Australia, TVE in Spain, TVNZ in New Zealand, TG4 in Ireland, Zoom in Israel, Sun TV Network in India, iflix in Asia and PlusPlus in Ukraine.

Finally, Jetpack sealed deals for Yoko with Sun TV Network, Canal Panda, Nick Jr in Italy, BBC Kids in Canada, Estonia’s ETV and CTC and O! in Russia. The show is produced by Russia’s Wizart Animation, and Spanish outfits Somuga and Dibulitoon Studio.
