Jetpack hires ex-Mattel, Cake exec

UK-based kids’ content distributor Jetpack Distribution has appointed an interim global head of sales to cover for Gillian Calvert Ridge while she is on maternity leave.

Marie-Laure Roche, who has held several key roles within the children’s television industry, will be based in London and will report to Jetpack Distribution CEO Dominic Gardiner.

Joining the company on September 1, Roche will work alongside Gardiner and global head of sales Calvert Ridge in the lead-up to October’s MipJunior and Mipcom markets.

Her previous roles include managing distribution of Mattel shows such Thomas & Friends and Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures. She also spent five years at Cake Entertainment, shopping series such as Angry Birds, Total Drama Series and Angelo Rules.
