Jetpack bolsters team with DHX hire

UK-based children’s sales house Jetpack Distribution has strengthened its team by hiring a new sales director from DHX Media.

Sophie Prigent will be based in Paris and report to Jetpack CEO Dominic Gardiner.

She will be responsible for selling shows including Dennis & Gnasher Unleashed, Kitty is Not a Cat, Talking Tom & Friends, The Cul de Sac, Oswaldo and Daisy & Ollie across all French-speaking territories, Central Eastern Europe, Greece, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

Prigent joins Jetpack from DHX, where she was territory manager. She has worked remotely in cities including Dubai, Istanbul, Prague, Warsaw, Budapest, Johannesburg and Tel Aviv.

She began her career in kids’ television in 2010 with Cookie Jar, where she remained until it was acquired by DHX Media. Prior to that she worked in the music industry for VMA.
