Jellyfish appoints ops director

UK animation and VFX studio Jellyfish Pictures has expanded its senior team with the appointment of Technicolor’s head of production.

Matthew Bristowe has joined the London-based firm as director of operations, having overseen hundreds of productions during his 20-year career so far.

These include Aladdin (Disney), Star Wars: The Last Jedi (LucasFilm/Disney), Avengers: Age of Ultron (Marvel) and Guardians of the Galaxy (Marvel).

Prior to working with Technicolor, Bristowe held senior positions at One of Us, MPC and Prime Focus.
