Jane Street, Optomen opt to link up

All3Media’s UK- and US- based Optomen Productions has signed a coproduction deal with producer Donna MacLetchie’s Jane Street Entertainment in New York.

The arrangement will see MacLetchie create, develop and produce unscripted programming, with a focus on formats, to be coproduced with Optomen in the US and internationally.

Based in Optomen’s New York office, MacLetchie and her team will work with Optomen president Maria Silver and senior VP of development Ricky Kelehar. Silver and MacLetchie will serve as executive producers on all series.

MacLetchie co-founded Jane Street in 2011. With 20 years’ TV industry experience, she has been involved in the creation of formats including Next Food Network Star, Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

She has created, developed, produced and sold shows for networks including TLC, Investigation Discovery, HGTV and History.

Founded in the UK, Optomen opened its New York office in 2002. MacLetchie recently served as showrunner and executive producer for the Optomen series Worst Cooks in America and its celebrity spin-off for Food Network.
