Jana Bennett poised for A+E

Former BBC high-flier Jana Bennett is reportedly heading to A+E Networks to manage its LMN and Bio channels.

The move will come ahead of Nancy Dubuc’s imminent promotion to president and CEO of A+E Networks, according to Deadline.

One of Dubuc’s stated targets is to follow the success of A&E, History and Lifetime with similar growth at the broadcaster’s second tier networks.

Bennett, who worked in various roles at the BBC for 30 years, left at the end of last year as part of a corporate restructure.

She previously headed up TLC for Discovery Communications during its transformation and will now oversee that development at A+E’s LMN and Bio channels.

Reps from A+E Networks hadn’t responded at the time of writing.
