Jackal hunts down Carrozza book

US producer The Jackal Group has acquired the television rights to media personality Ann Margaret Carrozza’s forthcoming book.

Love & Money: Protecting Yourself from Angry Exes, Wacky Relatives, Con Artists and Inner Demons will be adapted into an unscripted series, with the former New York assemblywoman serving as a producer and host.

The Jackal Group’s Gail Berman and Joe Earley will executive produce the project, which is yet to be attached to a broadcaster.

Love & Money is being published by Allworth Press and is scheduled for release on May 6.

The Jackal Group, formed in 2014, is a co-venture with the Fox Networks Group that develops and produces scripted and unscripted shows for the likes of Fox Broadcasting Company, FX and FXX and the National Geographic Channels.
