Ivi shops at All3 for first time

Ivi has taken exclusive regional rights to The Feed

Russian VoD service Ivi has picked up the rights to more than 50 hours of content from UK-based distributor All3Media International.

Under the deal, the first between the pair, Ivi has acquired a host of existing primetime dramas as well as exclusive rights in Russia, CIS and the Baltics to forthcoming future-set psychological thriller The Feed.

The 10×60′ series comes from The Walking Dead writer Channing Powell and All3Media’s Studio Lambert and is coproduced by Amazon and Liberty Global. It will premiere on the Amazon and Liberty Global platforms later this year in the UK, Europe and the US, as well as on StarzPlay’s European SVoD service and TVNZ in New Zealand.

Ivi has also picked up Dark Money (4×60′), which is written by Levi David Addai and produced by The Forge. Having premiered on BBC1 in the UK in July, the show has since been sold to Australia’s ABC, Sky in New Zealand, Globo TV in Brazil and U-Next in Japan.

The deal also includes non-exclusive rights to drama Informer (6×60′), from Neal Street Productions for BBC1, and six-part thriller Liar, from Two Brothers Pictures for UK broadcaster ITV and AMC in the US.

Ivi has also taken non-exclusive rights to Severn Screen’s eight-part crime drama Hidden (Craith), produced in association with Welsh pubcaster S4C, BBC Cymru Wales and BBC4, and Mystery Road, (6×60′) from Bunya Productions for ABC Australia.

In addition, Ivi has selected 10 hours of factual series and specials, taking non-exclusive rights to a package of health- and lifestyle-themed programming. This comprises Diet Secrets & How to Lose Weight (4×60′) from North One Television for Channel 5 and three one-hour specials produced for BBC1: The Sticky Truth About Sugar (Maverick Television), The Truth About Sleep (Lion Television) and The Truth About Stress (Blink Films).

Finally, Ivi has picked up two North One Television specials originally made for the UK’s Channel 4: Guy Martin vs the Robot Car and Guy Martin’s WW1 Tank, plus one-hour special Rise of the Superstar Vloggers, from Little Dot Studios for BBC3.
