David Miller takes up the newly created role of VP of digital games and will report to Steve Green, exec VP of kids’ content and distribution.

He will be tasked with expanding the reach of ITVSGE’s children’s games brands, with a particular focus on the recently launched Thunderbirds Are Go.

Green said Miller’s expertise would “prove essential as we look to establish relationships in non-linear content and gaming.”

Miller was most recently a marketing and new business consultant for Indigo Pearl and has also worked for tech companies including Bossa Studios, Namco Bandai Partners and Capcom.

In related news, ITVSGE has signed a multi-year renewal deal with CBC in Canada for UK soap Coronation Street.

The deal will see the world’s longest-running soap air exclusively on the Canadian public broadcaster one week after its UK broadcast. CBC, which has aired the show since 1966, also takes rights to more than 8,000 library episodes.
