ITVS gets Divided in Cambodia

A broadcaster in Cambodia has commissioned two seasons of ITV Studios’ general knowledge gameshow Divided.

Free TV network CTN is due to begin airing the show in the spring of 2021, with Cambodian Broadcasting Service (CBS) on production duties.

Cambodia is the 23rd country to license the format, which sees a team of three strangers attempts to answer up to 15 questions over the course of five rounds and accumulate as much money in a prize pot as possible.

At the end of each round, the team is given 15 seconds to decide whether to continue the game or stop and divide the money into three unequal shares.

Cambodia follows in the footsteps of fellow Asian countries such as Thailand, India and Vietnam in taking the show.

Kuch Chanvisal, deputy CEO of CBS, said: “We believe Divided will be as huge a success in Cambodia as it already is in our neighbouring countries.”
