ITV tracks Tiger Kings, finds Alice again

Finding Alice is set for a second season

UK commercial broadcaster ITV has commissioned a documentary in which Ross Kemp meets British people who keep dangerous wild animals and renewed comedy-drama Finding Alice.

Britain’s Tiger Kings – On The Trail With Ross Kemp (working title) will air in the spring and follows the presenter and actor as he travels the country to find the UK’s guardians of dangerous wild animals, from lions and tigers to giant snakes.

The two-part doc is being produced by London indie Honey Bee in association with Freshwater Films. The exec producers are Ed Taylor and Kemp, with Johnny McDevitt producing.

In addition, ITV has renewed Finding Alice for a second season. Created by Roger Goldby, Keeley Hawes and Simon Nye, the series follows a widow, played by Hawes, who discovers her dead husband has left her to deal with his secrets, debts and criminality.

The series is produced by Manchester’s Red Production Company in association with Bright Pictures TV, Buddy Club Productions and Genial Productions. The exec producers are Goldby, Hawes, Nye and Nicola Shindler, alongside Sarah Doole for Red Production Company.

Filming for the second season is set to begin in February 2022. StudioCanal will handle global sales.
