ITV takes on Ninja Warrior again

NEWS BRIEF: UK commercial broadcaster ITV has renewed its local version of Japanese gameshow Ninja Warrior for a second run.

Ninja Warrior UK, produced by ITV Studios label Potato, is based on Tokyo Broadcasting System Television format Sasuke and already airs in Japan, the US, Malaysia and Sweden. The show, which returns to ITV in 2016, sees 250 contestants run, jump and climb their way through a series of challenges.
