ITV returns to The Bay with Thomason

UK broadcaster ITV has commissioned a third season of crime drama The Bay and added Marsha Thomason, star of Sky1 drama Cobra, to the cast.

The addition comes after Morven Christie left the show in season two. ITV Studios-owned Tall Story Pictures will continue to produce the show.

The Bay is written by Daragh Carville with Furquan Akhtar co-writing S3, filming of which will begin in the spring, produced by Irma Inniss and executive produced by Catherine Oldfield.

ITV Studios handles international distribution of the series.
