ITV poses 21st Question

ITV in the UK has commissioned a new tactical quizshow from Chocolate Media, a subsidiary of London-based NBCUniversal (NBCU) International Television Production.

The 21st Question sees one contestant face 10 challenges through a series of ‘winner stays on’ rounds. Only one player will be left standing in the end, with a chance to win a cash prize if they can answer the 21st question.

The 10×60’ series was commissioned by director of ITV Daytime Helen Warner and launches on ITV1 later this year.

It will be exec produced by David Mortimer, senior VP of factual and entertainment at NBCU International Television Production, and Alan Brown, creative director at Chocolate Media.

NBCU’s international TV production businesses have been behind a host of shows including popular constructed reality series Made in Chelsea, from Monkey Kingdom, which airs on UK channel E4. Monkey is also working on a second season of Newlyweds for US net Bravo.
