ITV lines up Silverprint family drama

UK commercial broadcaster ITV has commissioned a new family drama from Vera producer Silverprint Pictures.

Flesh & Blood follows three adult siblings whose lives are upended when their recently widowed mother announces she’s in love with a new man, shifting her priorities away from her children.

The series is written by Sarah Williams (The Long Song) and produced by ITV Studios (ITVS) label Silverprint. Williams exec produces alongside Silverprint’s creative director Kate Bartlett (Dark Heart), while Letitia Knight (Dark Heart) produces.

ITVS distributor ITV Studios Global Entertainment will shop Flesh & Blood internationally. ITV head of drama Polly Hill commissioned the series for the broadcaster.
