ITV drama exec Hudson joins Eleven

London-based prodco Eleven has appointed a high-ranking member of UK broadcaster ITV’s drama commissioning team as its new executive producer.

Jane Hudson

Jane Hudson joins Eleven after four years at ITV, where she oversaw productions such as The Secret, The Loch, Midsomer Murders, Vera, Coronation Street, Bancroft and Emmerdale.

Prior to joining ITV, Hudson was at Kudos, then part of Shine Group, where she produced series including Law & Order UK and Hustle. Before that she produced two seasons of Waterloo Road for Shed Media and two seasons of Robin Hood for Tiger Aspect.

“It’s been a pleasure to oversee so many great shows and to, of course, be part of the teams on Coronation Street and Emmerdale. However, my heart has always been in production and I can’t wait to join Eleven and get stuck back in,” said Hudson.

Eleven recently produced the E4/Entertainment One comedy series Gap Year, picked up by Hulu in the US. It was also behind The Enfield Haunting for Sky in the UK and Hulu and A&E in the US.

It received investment from UK broadcaster Channel 4’s Indie Growth Fund in 2015, having been launched by Jamie Campbell and Joel Wilson in 2006.

The hiring of Hudson comes after Tom Pullen, Eleven’s head of factual development, re-joined Endemol Shine Group-owned factual prodco Dragonfly last month.

Eleven last year added to its ranks by bringing in Dan Cheesbrough, VP of business affairs for scripted at NBCUniversal, as its chief operating officer, and Foreign Bodies producer Kate Murrell as head of production.
