ITV America teams with King

ITV America is teaming up with the producer behind The Real Housewives of Atlanta on an unscripted production shingle.

Kingdom Reign Entertainment will be led by Carlos King and operate independently under the ITV America banner creating unscripted content.

King, who will be president of the firm, has experience in creating docusoaps and will also develop unscripted content across lifestyle, reality and other genres.

He has previously executive produced series for WeTV, VH1, MTV, OWN and Bravo, among others.

King will report to ITV America chief creative officer Adam Sher and Leftfield Entertainment CEO David George.

The deal was brokered by Ed Simpson, executive VP of business development and international at ITV America. Kingdom Reign Entertainment was represented by CAA.
