Italy sticks with All Together Now

Canale 5’s version of All Together Now

Italian network Canale 5 has renewed Endemol Shine Group singing contest format All Together Now for a second season.

The format sees a range of vocalists perform in front of an audience of 100 professional singers – aka ‘The 100’ – who must stand up and sing along with the act if they like what they hear. The more pros who join in, the higher the act’s score. At the end of the series, the act with the highest score walks away with a cash prize.

All Together Now made its Italian debut on Canale 5 in May and the second season is set to air on the channel next year.

Leonardo Pasquinelli, CEO of Endemol Shine Italy, said: “There is a huge appetite here in Italy for entertainment shows that attract the whole family. The audience here adored the lively characters of The 100 and the star performances within the show.”

The series has also received second-season renewals from Record TV in Brazil, Polsat in Poland and Kanal 5 in Denmark. The first version of the show, created by Endemol Shine UK’s Remarkable Television, was recently cancelled by UK pubcaster BBC1 after two seasons.
