Ireland’s Monster boards Noah’s toon

Irish production and distribution outfit Monster Entertainment has added a children’s show about the animals aboard Noah’s Ark to its slate ahead of MipTV.

The Dublin-based company will launch Noah’s Park (14×22′) in Cannes next week after recently picking up distribution rights to the show.

The series, which features a mix of a puppetry, life-size costumes and stop-motion and CG animation, comes from Noah’s Park LLC in the US. It tells the story of what happened to the animals after they left the ark.

Monster will also launch Cleo (39×7′), a coproduction between La Casa Animada and RTVE in Spain, at MipTV. The series follows an inquisitive little puppy and is designed to broaden the perspectives of young audiences.

Additionally, Monster has picked up Misho & Robin (30×5′), produced by Recircle in Croatia for public broadcaster HRT, which teaches children about friendship.
