Int’l nets pick up WildBrain’s Rev & Roll

Rev & Roll takes place in a world where everyone has a vehicle friend

Broadcasters and streamers in more than 25 countries have picked up CGI-animated preschool series Rev & Roll from WildBrain, the Canadian children’s firm previously known as DHX Media.

Deals for season one of Rev & Roll (52×11’) have been struck with Super RTL in Germany, France’s TF1, Turner’s Cartoonito in Italy, Karusel in Russia, Mexico’s TV Azteca and Nine Network in Australia.

The series has also been picked up by a number of outlets in China, namely CCTV-14, JiaJia Cartoon, Youman Cartoon, Golden Eagle Cartoon, Haxuan Cartoon and SVoD platforms including Tencent, iQiyi, Youku and Mango TV.

AVoD platforms to have picked up the show include YouTube, YouTube Kids, Tubi, Pluto TV, Xumo, Ketchup TV, Crackle and The Roku Channel, via which it has been watched in territories such as the US, Brazil, the UK, Australia and Canada.

WildBrain Spark, the company’s AVoD business, is currently working on new stop-motion and toy-play original content videos.

Rev & Roll follows the adventures of a group of high-energy friends led by eight-year-old Rev and his best friend, Rumble, in the town of Fender Bend, where everyone has a four-wheeled buddy at their side.
