Int’l nets land on Moon & Me

Andrew Davenport’s Moon & Me

A host of international broadcasters have acquired Teletubbies co-creator Andrew Davenport’s latest preschool series from the sales arm of Canada’s 9 Story Media Group.

Moon & Me (50×22′) will air on ABC in Australia, TVNZ in New Zealand, NPO Zappelin in the Netherlands, RTÉ in Ireland, Hop! in Israel, NRK in Norway and YLE in Finland.

9 Story Distribution International picked up sales rights, excluding the US, UK and China, to the show last year in a deal with producer Sutikki, the kids’ and family division of US producer Bento Box Entertainment.

Moon & Me, inspired by tales of toys that come to life when nobody is looking, is produced by Sutikki and In the Night Garden creator Davenport’s Foundling Bird. The show premiered on CBeebies in the UK and Universal Kids in the US earlier this year.
