Braxton Family Values
Broadcasters in Europe and Africa have acquired factual series spanning music and wildlife from US-based distributor GRB Entertainment.
South Africa-based ETV has taken two music-based factual docuseries from the distributor, including Braxton Family Values, which follows the chaotic life of singer Toni Braxton and her family.
ETV has also acquired two seasons of the latter’s spin-off series, Tamar & Vince, which follows rising music star Tamar Braxton, sister to Toni, and her music-mogul husband.
Both series were originally produced for WeTV in the US.
Elsewhere, This is Hot 97, produced for VH1 and about a New York-based radio station, has been acquired by MNET Africa.
In Sweden, TV4 has picked up the latest season of The Wildlife Docs, which is produced for ABC in the US and looks at the people who care for exotic animals in need.
The Swedish network has also taken three seasons of long-running series Untold Stories of the ER, which showcases doctors and dramatic cases of people in life-or-death situations.
