Insight TV to air two Covid specials

Coldplay will perform in Global Goal: Unite for our Future – The Concert

Netherlands-based ultra-HD broadcaster Insight TV is set to air two pandemic-related shows, including a concert featuring stars such as Shakira, Coldplay, Usher, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber.

Global Goal: Unite for our Future – The Concert will air across all of Insight TV’s platforms in 46 countries on June 28. It will highlight the disproportionate impact Covid-19 has on marginalised communities, including people of colour, those living in extreme poverty and others facing discrimination.

Hosted by Duane Johnson, The Concert will celebrate innovators, scientists, health workers, activists and organisations working to develop and distribute Covid-19 tests, treatments to everyone.

As well as the music performances, the show will feature appearances by Charlize Theron, Chris Rock, David Beckham, Hugh Jackman and Salma Hayek Pinault, among others.

Prior to The Concert, Insight TV will also broadcast Global Goal: Unite for our Future – The Summit, a global pledging moment where world leaders, corporations and philanthropists will announce new commitments to help develop equitable distribution of Covid-19 tests, treatments and vaccines, as well as rebuild communities devastated by the pandemic.
