Initial hires Possessed exec

Endemol Shine Group’s UK production outfit Initial has named an executive from ITV Studios-owned Possessed TV as its head of development.

Kate Stannard’s remit includes overseeing the production company’s slate and creating new IP, as well as working with creative directors Cat Lynch and Katy Manley on strategy.

She was most recently head of entertainment at Possessed TV where she worked on shows including 5 Gold Rings and Catchpoint for the BBC. Before that she had stints at BBC North and Monkey Kingdom.
