Telemundo will team with Mexico’s Azteca to create a Spanish version of the show for Mexico and the US Hispanic region.

Known locally as Si Se Puede, the programme will be produced in Mexico by FremantleMedia Latin America and will air from mid-September on both channels. The adaptation will star a cast of 12 celebrities from both networks and will be fronted by host Rafael Araneda.

In India’s adaptation, Zee TV will air a first season of 11 episodes this October, with film actor, singer, writer and director Farhan Akhtar as host. The show will air twice a week during the channel’s weekend primetime slots.

Meanwhile, the Vietnamese adaptation has been licensed for HTV, Style TV and Info TV, airing on all three stations. The show is set to air in June 2016.

In Croatia, I Can Do That! has been commissioned by pubcaster HRT, which also aired Armoza drama Hostages earlier in the year. The broadcaster will air an eight-episode season from the end of November in the Saturday primetime slot.

Albania’s Top Channel TV will launch a first season of 10 episodes, with production starting for an end of October airdate. This commission also marks Armoza’s first licence deal in the country.

The format challenges eight celebrities to choose an act to master in a week before they perform it live, with viewers voting for the best. The format emerged from a partnership between Armoza and China’s JiangSu Broadcasting Corporation (JSBC).

The show was recently renewed by US network NBC for a second season and has now been licensed in over 20 countries, including the US, Mexico, Finland and Spain.
