MasterChef Junior puts budding chefs to the test

TV2 in Hungary has commissioned a local version of popular cooking competition format MasterChef Junior from Endemol Shine Group (ESG) to air this autumn.

The show is a spin-off from MasterChef, which was originally created by Franc Roddam and was revived by Shine TV in the UK in 2005.

The show is produced by ESG and gives budding chefs the chance to showcase their culinary skills and passion for food through cooking challenges. In April, it was commissioned by Star Channel in Greece.

ESG is also behind entertainment formats such as All Together Now, which launched in the UK in January and has sold into five markets, most recently being ordered by RTL in Germany.
