Hungary bites into Vivendi’s Age

A Hungarian broadcaster has become the latest to order a local version of a gameshow from France’s Vivendi Entertainment.

TV2 in Hungary is prepping Guess My Age to air later this year, with the format created and sold by Vivendi Entertainment in association with French firm Tooco.

The show requires participants to guess the ages of strangers to win a cash prize.

French broadcaster C8 has also extended its version of the show, produced by Vivendi-owned Flab Prod, by adding another 16 episodes to its second run.

Elsewhere, Slovakia TV Joj has ordered an 80-part second season and ProsiebenSat.1’s Puls4 recently debuted its version in Austria.

Negotiations are underway with broadcasters in Europe, America and Asia, Vivendi added, while Banijay has already agreed a 15-territory option for the format, leading to it being remade for Das Erste in Germany.
